Red Wine from Colli Martani “Collezione” DOC

The process

The grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and placed in fermentation with inoculation of selected yeasts in steel vats with automatic pumping over and temperature control systems. Alcoholic fermentation lasts about one week with delestage. The wine is blended after alcoholic fermentation and placed in tonneaux for malolactic fermentation. It is aged in wood for about six months.

Tasting notes

The wine features an intense and bright ruby red colour, tending slightly to purple. The nose is rich in red fruit and flowers, with a finale of sweet spices and rhubarb. The palate features good softness with velvety tannin and a long and mineral finish. Wine with a good structure.
