From 27 April to 8 May 2016, Umbria Jazz is in China with a festival where Italian musicians will be the stars. The programme is packed with events – in Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao and Guangzhou. In the words of Umbria Jazz art director Carlo Pagnotta: “This festival will unite jazz with the cities of the future”.
Umbria Jazz’s China tour is not its first outside Italy. Over the years it has travelled round the United States, Australia, Serbia, South Africa, Japan, Brazil and Argentina.
All the Umbria Jazz China concerts are being funded by Main Sponsor Farchioni.
