Red Wine IGT from Umbria “Vocante”

The process

The grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and placed in fermentation with inoculation of selected yeasts, in steel vats with automatic pumping over and temperature control systems. Alcoholic fermentation lasts about one week with délestage, while controlled malolactic fermentation is carried out in steel. Ageing is first carried out in steel and then in bottle.

Tasting notes

Ruby red in colour with purple hues. On the nose, floral scents are followed by fruity hints and a pronounced note of red berries. Vinous, red fruit and flower sensations in the palate. Medium bodied and tannic, mineral finish. Consumption is recommended at room temperature or 18° C. Pairing with meat-based first courses, red meat, roasts.
